One of the extra runs of the ''Asama'' superexpress trains will leave Nagano for Tokyo at 10:03 p.m. for Olympic sponsors and another run for the resort village of Karuizawa will leave Nagano at 10:51 p.m., the officials said.
Currently, the last train for Tokyo leaves Nagano at 9:41 p.m.
The move followed requests made by the Nagano Olympic organizing committee to provide additional runs of the bullet trains to accommodate Olympic sponsors and spectators returning to Tokyo and the surrounding areas after taking in the late night sporting events in Nagano.
